Retrieval 2017- Registration
The Emergency Medical Retrieval Service are once again pleased to host the Retrieval 2017 conference. The conference is the annual UK gathering of adult, paediatric and neonatal retrievalists. We have assembled an excellent programme this year with international speakers from Australia, US, France, Denmark & Norway.
For the fourth year in a row conference fees remain the same. As well as the programme of lectures, interactive case discussions and abstract presentations, delegate favourites of the conference run and dinner will be taking place again. The conference is always over subscribed so please register early to guarantee a delegate place.
The programme can be downloaded here.
We look forward to seeing you in April.
Anne, Jon, Stu, Alasdair and Stephen.
This year we will be travelling to beautiful Loch Lomondside for our pre-conference trip on Tuesday 24th April.
A bus will leave the Golden Jubilee Hotel at 3pm. We will travel up the east side of the Loch to the small village of Balmaha which lies under Conic Hill. We will catch the boat from McFarlane’s boat yard. The McFarlane’s family have served the islands of Loch Lomond for 150 years, providing both passenger ferry services and the daily Royal Mail delivery boat to the islands. We will take the boat across the Loch to the enchanting, uninhabited island of Inchcailloch. We will then walk over to the bay at the West side of the island. If the weather is kind to us the views to Ben Lomond, the Arrochar Alps and Loch lomond are spectacular.
The boat will take us back to Balmaha where were are booked in for a three course dinner at The Oak Tree Inn. After dinner the bus will take us back to the conference hotel for a wee night cap.
