gregor mCintosh

advanced Retrieval Practitioner

Gregor joined the Scottish Ambulance Service in 2000 becoming a paramedic in 2005 and has worked in a variety of clinical and leadership roles including fixed wing and rotary air ambulance.  He was successful in applying for the pilot course of the BSc Paramedic Practice (Critical Care) and was one of only two SAS paramedics to complete that intake.  He joined the EMRS North as a retrieval practitioner when the team went live in April 2019 which had been a long held career ambition.  Gregor teaches on ALS and the Interhospital Transfer of the Critically Ill courses as well as being an associate lecturer with RGU. 

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, walking his dogs, running, cycling, skiing, cooking, wine, craft beer and days at the beach.
